Grizzly Viewing wildlife expeditions

Many clients ask us, “What’s the best time of year for grizzly viewing?

Because Chilcotin Holidays is located right in the heart of “Bear Country”, and we’ve studied the bear’s movements for the past 18 years, we know where to find grizzlies in the forests and alpine regions of the Chilcotin Mountains from May to September on our wildlife expeditions.

One month is not better than another to view bears, it all depends on where you want your trip to take place. We offer ranch-based wildlife expeditions to observe grizzly bears during May and June. In the summer months, our grizzly viewing trips take place from our permanent base camps for the bears move further up the mountains in search of new shoots and grasses.

Which ever month you choose to book your trip, our wilderness guides go the extra mile and take you exactly where you need to be to experience the thrill of watching one of Canada’s most exciting predators in its natural habitat on our wildlife expeditions.
