Family Pack Horse Trips become mini guide training sessions for all participants

When novice riders are involved in fitting all the equipment to the horse then confidence grows with their skill. All our guests are invited to saddle and bridle their own horse and also to go out with the guide to wrangle the horses in the meadows – staking, hobbling and belling. Tying up the pack saddle, trimming horses’ hooves, and even helping with shoeing are all possibilities during our pack trips, great for guide training! . Adventure participation and education are a great combination for a once in a life time experience.
