Crawling into a grizzly bear den, wildlife viewing in the Chilcotin Mountains

"It's located at the base of a fir tree, up a steep embank on a side of a hill. This hidden opening is rather smaller than I imagined to house a bear. As you squirm inside, backwards, it's dark, there's no smell, and there's not a lot of room. It's hard to image a bear lives the winter here. Not many can say they've ever seen a bear den, let alone crawl into one. It was an incredible day on horseback in the pristine wilderness of the South Chilcotins Mountains to do some wildlife viewing. Thank you for the once in a lifetime adventure!"
