The Coyotes and the Eclipse at Chilcotin Holidays - Night time wildlife

Two nights ago it was clear, cold and a bright full moon reflected off the sparkling snow, lighting up the ranch. As we were closing everything up for the night, we heard a faint howl of wildlife, our dogs heard it too and became alert, staring into the darkness at the surrounding forest.
We stood silently and listened, it came again, louder, it was coyotes. They howled and barked at the full moon for an hour before the sound got fainter. Later that night came the lunar eclipse which created an eerie yet awesome red glow, the howling started again and we all felt shivers down our spine.
