Gold Mine icicles - Horse guide adventures

In the winter, the old Gold Mine located on the side of Carpenter Lake looks like a mysterious cave with its massive icicles shining in the darkness of its multiple rocky tunnels that gives horse guide interns an exciting experience. As the top icicles start melting when the temperature rises inside the tunnels, bottom icicles form, giving the illusion that they are growing from the ground.

A few of our horse guide interns went on a day out to explore the beautiful sight. Stepping into the tunnels feels like stepping into a fairy tale... you wouldn't be surprised to see some kind of magical creature pop up behind the ice!
