Our 2012 Wilderness Guide Interns - Guiding in wilderness locations

This year, we had quite a few Guide School students who had the opportunity to stay on at Chilcotin Holidays upon completion of their Wilderness Guide School. All of them were a real asset during our busy pack trip season that is extending in September, guiding in wilderness few people have ever set foot on before.

During their internship, they got the opportunity to assist on various pack trips, learning new trails and camps, improving their horse and people skills, their time management, becoming incredible camp cooks and wildlife spotters and guiding. In wilderness, you have to be on the ball, and while it's hard work, it's the most rewarding. All had an unforgettable time in the South Chilcotin Mountains and built memories and friendships of a lifetime.

Remember these faces!

Our thoughts go to them all, across the world, and we hope they will be coming back next season to gain more practice and for more adventures in the South Chilcotin Mountains. To learn about guiding in wilderness locations, contact us today!
