Christmas Impressions on our esl wilderness ranch!

We hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and enjoyed the holidays with your friends and family! Did you wonder how we celebrated Christmas at the ranch? Here are some impressions from our esl wilderness ranch:

Since our esl students and staff are from all over the world, we agreed on a truly international Christmas celebration in which our horses were included as well. The beautiful weather during the last two days invited us to spend most of the day outdoors. From an early morning hike, to enjoying a bareback ride in the pasture, having fun with the snowmobiles in the back yard and driving a tractor around the ranch to calling wolves in the bush – we did everything! After all these adventures, we gathered in the kitchen to prepare our Christmas dinner. Everyone cooked one traditional dish from their country, so we finally ended up with a Canadian turkey, a Norwegian cabbage dish, German Sauerkraut, French dessert and many more delicious creations. What a meal! Afterwards, we gathered around the Christmas tree, happy and satisfied, to play games and watch movies and very slowly bring the day to an end...
