Family Hiking Trips - 7-Day Guided Wilderness Alpine Hike Hut-to-Hut with Pack Horses

Our family hiking trips are all inclusive and an unforgettable wilderness experience, trekking the original route of the gold seekers in the 1800's with pack horses on the leeward side of Southwestern British Columbia's pristine Chilcotin Mountain Park. You'll spend days hiking in the famous alpine meadows where the wildflowers of the Chilcotin Mountains number in the hundreds and bloom from May to September. Your family hiking trips will take you on a hike to 3 of our permanent alpine hut camps, each one unique given its alpine setting with its own special features. They are located at a height between 6,000 and 6,500 feet, and the highest elevation a group goes to is 9,000 feet. Your days are spent hiking with plenty of time for wildlife viewing, bird watching, photography and whatever passions you have amidst nature.
