An Introduction to Canadian Ranch Life through our ESL programs

Last weekend, Lina from Germany arrived at our ranch to participate in one of our 4 week ESL programs. During this short time she has already had some fantastic experiences in the Canadian wilderness! After having English lessons in the morning, Lina used her free time to go snowmobiling, to have her riding orientation and try her bareback riding skills. She was also eager to learn how the daily ranch life looks like: She helped to feed all our 39 horses, learned how to operate a tractor and joined our kitchen crew in baking a wonderful apple cake.

Here are a few pictures of Lina's first 4 days at the ranch on one of our ESL programs:

Perfect weather for a fun packed snowmobile tour on the beautiful wintry trails around the ranch!

After overcoming the difficulties of getting on a horse without a saddle, Lina could appreciate the feeling of freedom that bareback riding brings along...
Our intern Manon showed Lina how to operate a tractor - and it looked like they were having fun!
