What a wild weekend with our horse guide before returning to School!

What a wild weekend before returning to School!

Cayle, Jade, and their mom Melissa Terlingen had a big surprise when they reached the top of Windy Pass on Saturday, 3 days before the start of school...
The family had joined their expert Horse Guide Renee and Vicky for two days overnight at Camp Eldorado, in the South Chilcotin Mountain Park.
It was a wet slog to the camp, and everyone needed a change of clothes when they got there. But by nightfall they were snug and warm, and full of marshmallows. Night-night. Then morning came, and...it was winter! Snow everywhere! Christmas in August. So what would a grade-school cowgirl and cowboy do? Make a snowman on the mountaintop.
Later the gang caught sight of an eagle flying high above the treeline.
The horse guide reported that originally, Cayle didn't even want to leave the warm hearth of the Ranch-house just before their trip--cookies were the cure for that. But they came back with a Trip of a Lifetime memory of Chilcotin Holiday Adventures--emphasis on Adventure!
