Bird Watching for ESL Wilderness Students, just one of many esl activities!

Eagles soar above you in the blue skies over the Chilcotin Mountain Range. Woodpeckers tap a beat on old logs in the pine forest as they search for insects. Ravens call to one another in their raucous voices. Humming birds enjoy the sweet nectar of the colorful wild flowers in the mountain alpine meadows. Bird enthusiasts have a wonderful variety of birds to view while studying at the ESL Wilderness Ranch through our potential esl activities. Check off some of those life list birds that you can't find elsewhere. Learn about some of the famous area birds in our ESL reading material, then go outdoors and find them! There's nothing like zooming in on the bird of your quest with binoculars and watching their behavior close up for the first time. Our experienced local guides know where the nests are and the best time to view them. You can even check out the feathered friends while riding up the mountain trails. Blossoms of every color attract hummingbirds and other species high up along the mountain side and in the alpine valleys. Take your bird watching to new heights in the Chilcotin Mountains with our esl activities!
