Outdoor guide training continues!

Here at Chilcotin Holiday Guest Ranch we are always very busy learning new things. As new internships students arrive new experiences are to be had. From learning how to drive a tractor to trying out to do archery, there is always something exciting happening. Our guides are learning more about life outside as they continue their outdoor guide training, despite the program ending! There's always more to learn at Chilcotin Holidays, and always someone to show you what to do.

Recently the new Internship students to the ranch got the opportunity to try out their skills after having a chainsaw orientation of the proper procedure on using a chainsaw.

The staff also had the opportunity to take a lesson in doing archery. Everyone had fun in trying out something special and challenging. What a experience!

An other first time experience for nearly all of them was the visit of Herman, our Vet. He showed our outdoor guide training students how to float a horses teeth and some of them even did it by themselves.

The opportunities at Chilcotin Holiday Guest Ranch are endless and amazing, everyday is a new experience and exciting adventure. We are learning new things every day and take on every opportunity that is thrown at us.

Visit our website like us onFacebook or email us at if you would like the opportunity to take on new challenges and join our Chilcotin Holidays Guest Ranch family, and participate in the outdoor guide training.
