Chilcotin Holidays

Living at Chilcotin Holidays

In the city, there is a lot of noise, people are always busy, always running after the time without enjoying the day. It's hard to find a peaceful place in this hive of activity. When I was in France I was used to go in school and going back to my apartment. The park was too far from them, so I’d almost never been there, even thought I love nature.

At Chilcotin Holidays, nature is everywhere. You don't have to take public transport to be in nature or even drive some long hour for wildlife viewing! If you let the door of the Saloon open, a squirrel will come to get some peanut butter. And who can say “I was 1 meter close to a deer”? I can now. You don't even have to take a break to enjoy the beautiful view that the Ranch offers. If you are Ranch Hand, you are able to appreciate the wildlife show, if you are in the Office or in the Kitchen, take 5 seconds to come outside for a little break. And lucky if you go on a pack trip or do guide school, you will discover an amazing new view.

Even without looking you can appreciate the nature, every night I liked to listen in my tents, the sounds of the wind in the trees, the noise of birds etc. Not like in the city where you hear car, people talking and the noise, where you can't appreciate your nap. Here is like a sweet melody.

Sometimes, during my day off, I like to take a break by sitting outside, looking at the beautiful landscape and listening to sounds of the nature. No city around, just the beautiful mountains, forest and lake. Here it is always sunny, one more advantage is to observe the landscape. And I look forward to discovering all the diversity the landscape has to offer.

Take a break, and enjoy!
